Lanma is live on iPhone and Android, and StudyLingo is in development.

Lanma

Turn any video or article into words you remember and can say out loud.

  1. Share a YouTube video, an article or a song. Lanma picks out the expressions in it and explains each one in your language.
  2. Words you already know are left out of the set.
  3. Flashcards and quizzes bring each word back just before you’d forget it.
  4. A voice conversation gets you saying the words you saved.

StudyLingoExam and course study. In development, under a working title.

A daily lesson of about three minutes, made from your own course material.

  1. Upload slides, PDFs, notes or lecture transcripts.
  2. StudyLingo turns them into a course of short lessons, where each card teaches one idea and then asks a question about it.
  3. Every card shows the passage it came from.
  4. Cards you miss come back in later lessons, and one lesson a day keeps the streak going.

It's meant for exam candidates and university students who give up when the pile of material looks too big, and for the academies that teach them.
